Who We Are...
Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through
service. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the
disadvantaged, care for the sick, build playgrounds, and much more. No problem
is too big or too small. Why? Because by working together, many can achieve what
one person cannot accomplish alone.The Kiwanis Club
of Bixby Knolls/North Long Beach focuses its efforts on the Long Beach area,
especially North Long Beach. We provide support to various Jordan High
School athletic teams and the Jordan High School Key Club, we conduct an annual
clothing drive for Carmalitos Housing Project, and each month we feed the
residents at Project Achieve, a 59 bed transitional housing shelter.
